Our curriculum is different and distinct
from schools which receive state funds. Our total program is
permeated by the Christian vision with emphasis on our Catholic
heritage.
As part of the Mystical Body of Christ,
the Mater Dei Academy school life revolves around the Church
and the liturgical year. Our intention is not to shelter our
children from a secular society, but to arm them to defend
their Faith, to show good example, and to Christianize all
aspects of society.
The Academy maintains an excellence
in education while remaining faithful to the Holy Father and
the Magisterium (teaching authority of the Church). Mater
Dei recognizes the importance of reinforcing Christian family
values. The Teachers are certified and the teacher-student
ratio is approximately 1:15.
