The Academy assists the parents in bringing
the young to maturity. Conscious of this responsibility and
aware of the inseparability of the intellectual and moral life,
Mater Dei sets rules of conduct becoming to Christians.
Discipline is based on the love of
God, observance of the Ten Commandments, and a strong moral
character. The positive attitudes of respect for authority,
at home and at school, and responsibility for one's own actions
are emphasized at Mater Dei.
Through a combination of firmness
and compassion, not permissiveness, the Academy fosters the
positive attitudes of respect, obedience and responsibility
to duty.
